We Were Here
A dear family friend had a bunch of old photographs of her grandmother’s younger days on the ranch. This photo which inspired this painting was taken when Tommy Harrington was out with four of her girlfriends. Tommy is the figure on the far right setting with her hat flat and elbows akimbo… quite indicative of her personality, so I’ve been told.

Whether painting or sculpting my goal is the same: to capture the spirit and beauty of this earthly experience, and to encourage others to see, feel, enjoy, and appreciate it.
